Serving Success: Growing a Catering Business with Heart

Join NEW for a special evening at Mo Mo’s Catering Service & Noshery as we hear from mother-daughter team Barbara Marquez and Amber Marquez Boggs, the women behind Mo Mo’s Catering & Events LLC.

Since 2016, Mo Mo’s has been serving the Louisville community with home-cooked food made with passion, love, and a deep commitment to bringing people together.

Barbara’s journey began when she returned to school at the age of 50 to earn her college degree and build on her lifelong love of cooking for others. What started as a dream has grown into a family business, with her daughter and husband now working alongside her full-time.

Today, Mo Mo’s Catering & Events creates customized experiences for clients, offering not only delicious food but also thoughtful details such as centerpieces, handcrafted décor, linens, serviceware, and decorations tailored to each client’s vision.

Barbara and Amber will share the story of how they built Mo Mo’s, what it takes to grow a catering business, and how family, community, creativity, and heart continue to shape their work. Attendees will also enjoy a buffet dinner prepared especially for NEW, along with time for our usual networking and connections.  

Registration closes July 5 at 11:00 PM, or earlier if all tickets are sold.
