So You Got Certified… Now What? An Inside Look at Federal Contracting for Women-Owned Businesses
Join us for an inside look at federal government contracting from both a strategic and real-world perspective, with a focus on how women-owned businesses can successfully enter and grow in the federal marketplace.
Marisa Midkiff Neal, Founder of Stone Rickhouse Group LLC and President of NEW, brings more than 20 years of experience in the public sector and government procurement. Prior to launching her consulting firm in 2012, she served in state government. Since then, she has worked with government contractors nationwide, supported federal subcontracting efforts on construction projects, and secured state government contracts for her company.
Marisa will be joined by Crystal Billingslea, President of Crico Enterprise LLC, a Louisville-based facilities maintenance company that has successfully performed federal contracts across multiple states for more than 10 years, growing into a multi-million dollar business. As a woman-owned business operating in the federal space, Crystal brings firsthand insight into what it takes to win, perform, and sustain government contracts.
Together, they will share how women-owned businesses can position for federal opportunities, leverage certifications such as WOSB, pursue contract opportunities, and manage the compliance requirements necessary for long-term success.
Whether you are exploring government contracting or looking to grow your current work, this session offers practical insight from both an advisor and an active federal contractor.
