November 11 NEW Monthly Networking Event

Be a part of Movie Magic!

Meet Kathy Campbell, owner of Campbell Talent Casting.  She is currently casting for five films being produced in Kentucky. She's always looking for extras if you want to experience what it's like to be on a movie set. Learn from Kathy how to get your business involved or submit a location for shooting. Kathy is a great resource to answer questions about acting, modeling or the film business.

Kathy is a member of Casting Society of America. She has a business degree in marketing from UK and spent many years in medical management of an ER company, and primary care offices, plus seven years in pharmaceutical sales. Much volunteer work was done in theatre, serving on multiple boards in the community. In her late 40s she reinvented herself and opened a talent agency. As a talent agent she represented models, actors, and voiceover artists. She also cast many commercials and small film projects working to book all talent from the agency. When KY's film incentives came back in 2020, she sold the talent agency and went into casting full time. Notable projects include Dead Man"s Wire (directed by Gus Van Sant)  Revisionist with Dustin Hoffman, Art of Self Defense with Jessie Eisenburg; a commercial for Chicken Licken (South African chicken chain), and a back to school commercial for Ross.

Kathy serves on the board for StageOne and is excited to host NEW and tell you a little about the organization and mission. StageOne just celebrated 80 years of children's theatre in Louisville. Joining Kathy will be Christine Fellingham, StageOne Director of Mission Advancement.
